Holistic Wellness Fair set to take place this Weekend

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) -The Holistic Fair is set to take place this weekend in Fairmont. The fair presents the opportunity to step into the world of Holistic Medicine and explore new ways of self care and health. What makes Holistic medicine unique is that it not only focuses the physical aspect of ones health, but also the mind, spirit, and emotions. The fair will feature a variety of vendors and experts in the field of Holistic health; in hopes they are able to educate and hopefully transcend the way people view their own health. Holistic resource Zen Jen Owner, Jennifer Kelly, is looking forward to yet another successful event.

” This week is National Healthcare Week and it was perfect timing to be able to have this fair and right before the holidays. Before the business, the hustle and bustle. That people really have the opportunity to take care of themselves. We had our very first one in August here and had an excellent turnout and have added additional practitioners that will be available and offering their services.”

The Holistic Fair not only provides the chance to learn about an alternative way of practicing healthy living but also the opportunity to experience something new.

” With the society and the burnout that we’re facing; and the business, the doing ness that we have so much. It’s really understanding that you can incorporate various practices and tools to help you be more mindful. Live a life of more joy and more ease; and understand that there are more services offered within the area that can help you and be a tool. Not only what you have in your daily practices, but also different services that can be offered as well.”

If you haven’t tried holistic health practices this new experience could not only be the change needed in your own personal health regimen, but also a loved one’s.

” It’s wonderful to be able to offer an experience, I thank so much to be able to have a place where you can come and just relax and recharge; rejuvenate yourself. It also really is about the educational component. So, it started out over the opportunity to really have wellness in the community and more of that awareness of the various services that are offered by local businesses. So, all of the practitioners are from here in North Central West Virginia and have that opportunity for community members to come in, have a twenty-minute appointment and try a service that maybe they’ve never heard of before.”
